Who Are We
The Earth Elements Design Center supplies high-end custom home interior finishes to the building industry. We are the complete one-stop shop for Appliances, Cabinetry, Doors and Door Hardware, Lighting, Slab, Tile, and Wood Flooring. We currently have three physical Showroom locations throughout the North-West Region however our business is now rapidly expanding across America and the Caribbean with our proprietary state-of-the-art software solution. The Job
  • Earth Elements Design Center is looking for a Cabinetry Manager to join our team in our beautiful Gallatin Gateway, Montana location.
  • The Cabinetry Manager is responsible for the sale of the organization’s custom and third-party cabinetry products. This position is responsible for strategy implementation to generate new business and maintain existing relationships with clients.
  • Ensuring all work is completed in a correct, cost-effective, and timely manner in alignment with quality requirements and specifications
  • Examining job costing as related to projects to ensure production is meeting timelines and budget requirements
  • Planning and reviewing budgets to manage costs and increase profitability
  • Oversight and completion of invoicing and scheduling for shop production and installation
  • Communication and interaction with Earth Elements clientele from beginning of the project to the installation of the project
  • Receiving escalated matters for review and resolution
  • Scheduling and leading weekly production meetings to review schedules, timelines, processes, etc.
  • Responsible for overall quality control and assurance for cabinetry projects
  • Final inspection of projects prior to the final assembly and installation
  • Planning and reviewing budgets to manage costs and increase profitability
  • Oversight and completion of invoicing and scheduling for production and installation
  • Acting as a liaison with multiple departments in Earth Elements to ensure fit and finish (i.e. plumbing, hardware, appliances, slab)
  • Complete field measurements for new projects, as needed
  • Generating drawings using AutoCAD, as needed
  • Generating conceptual designs and shop drawings for review and approval by clientele, as needed
  • Approving finish samples prior to finishing
  • Acts as a resource to sales team for opportunities and estimates.
  • Coordinates with Marketing and Sales Development teams in the development of marketing plans and implementation of campaigns
  • Maintains and expands customer base by counseling sales development personnel; building and maintaining rapport with key customers; identifying new customer opportunities
  • Troubleshoots problems regarding products provided
  • Answers questions from the showroom and assists with complaints
  • Recommends product lines by identifying new product opportunities, and/or product, and service changes; surveying client needs and trends; tracking competitors
  • Manages client relations with Builders, Designers and Architects for the division
  • Directs and/or assists in the performance of tasks as needed (i.e. unusual designing processes or questions, explaining procedures and processes, etc.)
  • Trains personnel in the performance of assignments, responsibilities and expectations of Earth Elements Cabinetry
  • Reviews projects prior to transport to finishing and post-finish for quality control purposes mentioned above.
  • Interviews, hires, and manages performance of supervisees
  • This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday; 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; additional hours and schedule changes as needed for business purposes.
  • Travel is primarily local, up to 4-hour driving distance during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected. Must have reliable transportation and a clean driving record, per insurance eligibility requirements.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, required
  • 2-3 years of sales experience, preferred
  • Knowledge of cabinetry, box construction, solid wood joinery, carpentry and veneer work, required
  • Experience using AutoCAD, Cabinet Vision or related software, required
  • Organized, responsible, enthusiastic, and timely with a strong work ethic, desired
  • Must be able to communicate with a variety of internal and external sources (i.e. employees, clients, designers, architects, etc.)
  • Clean driving record, able to meet insurability qualifications
