Who Are We
The Earth Elements Design Center supplies high-end custom home interior finishes to the building industry. We are the complete one-stop shop for Appliances, Cabinetry, Doors and Door Hardware, Lighting, Slab, Tile, and Wood Flooring. We currently have three physical Showroom locations throughout the North-West Region. Our business is now rapidly expanding across North America and the Caribbean with our proprietary state-of-the-art software solution. This is an excellent opportunity for the successful applicant to join this fast-growing company.

The Job
  • Earth Elements is seeking a sales-driven Tile & Wood Flooring Specialist to join our Park City showroom team, working with homeowners, interior designers, architects, builders, and contractors on high-end residential projects.
  • The ideal candidate has direct experience with tile, natural stone, and/or wood flooring, including product selection, estimating, architectural plans, and project coordination. We are also interested in experienced sales professionals from the luxury residential construction and design industry who bring strong client relationships, technical aptitude, and the ability to quickly develop expert-level product knowledge.
  • This is not simply a showroom sales position. The role manages projects from initial client consultation and material selections through estimating, quoting, ordering, coordination, and project completion, while also developing new business and growing relationships within the local design and construction community.
  • Guide homeowners, interior designers, architects, builders, and contractors through tile, natural stone, slab, and wood flooring selections.
  • Provide consultative product guidance, including product features, applications, installation considerations, and design solutions.
  • Read architectural plans and create accurate material and installation estimates while meeting bid deadlines.
  • Manage client projects from initial selection and quoting through ordering, coordination, follow-up, and project completion.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing trade partners while actively identifying, qualifying, and developing new business opportunities.
  • Manage prospects and active opportunities through the sales pipeline with consistent follow-up until opportunities are won, lost, or otherwise resolved.
  • Maintain strong showroom and product knowledge, including current trends, markets, competitors, and product lines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across multiple luxury home-finish categories to provide a seamless client experience.
  • Maintain accurate project, client, quote, and follow-up activity in company systems and coordinate with accounting as needed.
  • Represent Earth Elements at local industry events, home shows, Parade of Homes, and other relationship-building opportunities as needed.

What We Are Looking For
  • Tile, natural stone, slab, wood flooring, or related building-material experience strongly preferred.
  • Candidates without direct tile or wood flooring experience will be considered with proven sales and industry experience in luxury residential construction, interior design, architecture, building materials, kitchen & bath, cabinetry, plumbing, lighting, appliances, or other high-end home finishes.
  • Minimum 2 years of successful sales, consultative sales, business development, or relevant industry experience.
  • Experience working with designers, architects, builders, contractors, and/or luxury homeowners preferred.
  • Strong relationship-building, client qualification, prospecting, follow-up, and closing skills.
  • Ability to read architectural plans and prepare estimates; Bluebeam experience is a plus.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple active projects and deadlines.
  • Strong sense of urgency, consistent follow-through, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable learning and using software such as Outlook, Elements, Bluebeam, 2020, AutoCAD, and other department-specific programs.
  • Reliable transportation and a clean driving record meeting company insurance eligibility requirements.

Experience That Translates Well
We encourage applicants with experience in showroom sales, specification sales, trade sales, designer or contractor relations, flooring sales, tile and stone, hardwood flooring, architectural and design sales, building materials, luxury kitchen & bath, cabinetry, plumbing, lighting, appliances, or other high-end residential finishes, to apply.

Position Details
  • Full-time, Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.; occasional overtime may be requested.
  • Primarily showroom/office based with local travel, generally within approximately one hour; occasional out-of-area or overnight travel may be expected.
  • Must be able to lift and move product samples up to 50 pounds.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Design, or a related field preferred.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability
Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 07/31/2029
Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
